About me

Welcome to Ambersky Counseling, I’m Carinne, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Let’s be real and authentic here. I’m not your “nod and smile” therapist. I’m here to fully support you, the crying, the anger, the occasional or frequent cussing, and questioning everything in this messy life. I’m here to help you know that you don’t have to go through this alone. I show up as my full authentic self and hold space for you. Let’s talk about the things that are frustrating you. Feeling stressed trying to figure out your purpose? Feeling overwhelmed with work-life balance? Feeling like you can’t stop worrying? I am here to listen.

My therapy style is warm, holistic, empowering and person-centered. I approach each session with compassion and meeting you where you are at. I specialize in trauma-informed care while helping humans deal with depression, anxiety, CPTSD, LGBTQIA+ affirming care, identity struggles, anger management, chronic pain/illness support, stress.

I use skills from Internal Family Systems, Somatic Therapy, DBT, and ACT. Therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating or stiff. If you’re looking for someone you can laugh, cry, cuss, and dive deep into the hard stuff with? Let’s Chat.
